Mikóháza is situated along the bank of the brook ’Bózsva’, in a wonderful natural environment, 10 km far from Sátoraljaújhely. We can catch a glimpse of the nature trail leading up to the lookout tower on the “Fekete-hegy” while departing from the rustic winery which was built at the end of the 19th century and consists of 95 cellars. The nature trail presents the flora and fauna characteristic to the ‘Zemplén Mountains’ approximately 3,2 km long. After reaching the lookout tower, we can take delight in the panorama. The bicycle track among Sátoraljaújhely-Mikóháza-Füzérradvány allows everyone to spend his or her time with active recreation.
The Imperial Eagle educational trail provides a complete cross-section of the Zemplén landscape. It travels through fabulous valleys, magnificent panoramic plateaus, or just charming forests. The mountain bike path is also part of the full tour of the Haris and Imperial Eagle educational trails, but most importantly, you can cross the Bózsva barefoot or in rubber boots.
The Haris and the Little Haris educational trail, which runs along the newly built dam, is a surprisingly varied and comfortable hike, touching the Bózsva coastal habitats in the depths of the forest or the open pastures.
