Vagashuta is situated in the corner of Zemplen, hidden among the hills. Its founders were most likely Slovakian glaziers. The small village is divided into three large units by the surface forms: Dolina (the valley), the Small- and the Large Slope from where the view provides unique experiences – it is one of the most significant factors of attraction in the village- , but the fresh air, and its location among the wonderful forests of Zemplen make the settlement also quite unique. Besides the Slovakian Land-house and the Catholic Church, products of wood-sculpture make the sights of interest in the settlement just more interesting. Several rest stops in the forest, bacon-toaster and a nature trail provide various programme facilities for the visitors.
